Foot Care Services 

The RVH Foot Care Service is a professional service provided by a registered practical nurse with specialized training in providing foot care to clients, including those who are considered high- risk for foot complications such as people with diabetes, kidney disease, alterations in sensation and circulation problems.

A visit with the foot care nurse consists of a comprehensive foot health management program. The initial visit will include:

  • A thorough health assessment

  • Treatment for current foot concerns as well as preventative measures, for example nail cutting and filing, corn and callous care, involuted and ingrown nails

  • Education

  • Referral, if needed


RVH Foot Care Service staff is composed of nurses who have received specialized training in providing foot care. If you would like some help in caring for the health of your feet, please give us a call at 613-432-9696.

We are conveniently located at 100 Health Village Lane, Renfrew, between Quail Creek and Bonnechere Manor.

Our care

The nurses at RVH Foot Care Service take every precaution to protect your health. We sterilize our tools between clients, wear gloves and masks and follow strict hand hygiene using handwashing and hand sanitizers at multiple points of care. Your health is important to us and we want you to be happy with the care we provide. If you have any questions, please ask!

Your visit

Your first/assessment appointment may take up to 1 hour. We want to do a thorough job and get to know you. Regular follow-up appointments will take approximately 30 minutes. Follow-up appointments can be scheduled to meet your needs, usually every six to eight weeks. The cost for professional care to keep your feet happy and healthy is $55.00 for your initial visit and $45.00 for routine follow-up appointments. Any profits from this service will be reinvested in other health care initiatives for our community.
