QualificationsQualifications: • Registration as a Certified Pharmacy Technician with the Ontario College of Pharmacists (mandatory) • Certification in Sterile Compounding Preparation from an approved Sterile Compounding Supervisor as defined by the NAPRA Model Standards for Pharmacy Compounding of Hazardous and Non-Hazardous Sterile Preparations (or willingness to obtain). • Requires a good knowledge of computer operations, purchasing and inventory/supply management. • Good decision-making skills, communication and interpersonal skills are required. • Must have a good understanding of professional ethics and a willingness to work as a team member with other professional staff coupled with an ability to provide patient-oriented services.
