Quilting Grannies keeping dialysis patients warm

The dialysis patients at Renfrew Victoria Hospital will be cozy and warm, no matter how cold the weather gets this winter. Thanks to the work and generosity of Haley’s Quilting Grannies, each patient has their own colourful lap quilt to keep them comfortable. In all, the group has donated 77 quilts for the patients. The quilts add a beautiful splash of colour to the dialysis unit. Patient Gertie Emon (above) enjoys the warmth of her quilt in the company of, from left, RVH Social Worker Nadine LaSalle and quilters Marlene Wade and Pearl Gould.
