Currently, we are inviting applications for the following positions:

Registered Nurse: Emergency Department - Part-time
Reporting to the Nurse Manager, Emergency /Ambulatory Care Unit, the successful candidate must possess a current certificate of competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario, IV certification, current ACLS certification, and working experience with CTAS and health assessment. A minimum of two (2) years recent Emergency Room or related experience is necessary. Trauma Care or Emergency Nursing Course is preferred. The successful candidate will have sound organization skills, excellent interpersonal skills along with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Computer skills are an asset.

New Nursing Graduates
If you are a new nursing graduate, RVH participates in the Nursing Graduate Guarantee of the Ministry of Health and Long Term Care and is registered with Health Force Ontario www.healthforceontario.ca . We also qualify for the Tuition Support Program through the Ministry of Health and Long Term Care. Dietitian - Nephrology Program & Dietary Department (minimum 30 hours per week)
We are presently recruiting a Dietitian to provide a broad spectrum of nutrition services to patients of our nephrology program. Through extensive knowledge, skills and clinical experience, the successful candidate will assess, implement and evaluate nutritional goals and care plans. The successful candidate will have a Baccalaureate Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics; be a graduate of an accredited Dietetic Internship Program; be registered with the College of Dietitians of Ontario, and be eligible for membership with the Dietitians of Canada. Two years recent, related experience in clinical dietetics is preferred.

Clinical Pharmacist - Full-Time
The Renfrew Victoria Hospital and the St. Francis Memorial Hospital are jointly recruiting a full-time Clinical Pharmacist. Based at the Renfrew Victoria Hospital, the successful candidate will provide a full range of clinical pharmaceutical services at both sites.

Applicants must have a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy, licensure (or eligibility) with the Ontario College of Pharmacists, and registration with the Canadian Society of Hospital Pharmacists. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication, interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as experience in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities will include coordinating the distribution and storage of drugs across both hospitals; evaluating drug therapy for a wide variety of inpatients and outpatients including dialysis, daycare, and oncology patients; and consulting with other members of the health care team, both in person and via telehealth.

Ultrasound Technologist - Full-Time
The Renfrew Victoria Hospital is recruiting a full-time Ultrasound Technologist.

Applicants must have successfully completed an approved registered program and have current registration with the Canadian Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers and the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers. They must have experience in abdo/pelvic, OB/GYN and small parts ultrasound. Experience in vascular ultrasound would be an asset.

Registered Nurses
We are currently accepting applications from registered nurses for many of our Clinical Programs, including Medical/Surgical, Obstetrics, ICU, Emergency and Shift Coordinators. All candidates must possess a current certificate of competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario. For positions in the ICU and ER, candidates must also possess current ACLS and ICU certification. For medical/surgical positions, experience with adult medical and surgical care is mandatory. For obstetrical positions, candidates must also possess Neonatal Resuscitation Certification and recent obstetrical experience including fetal monitoring skills.

Registered Practical Nurses
As a RPN, you must have: current certification with the College of Nurses of Ontario, medication administration certification, asepsis certification, technical competence, good assessment skills, current certification in C.P.R. at Basic Rescuer Level (or equivalent), and well developed interpersonal and communication skills. You have the ability to work independently, perform duties in the physical demands of the work area and are available to work all shifts as required.
